An Intersection that is a Personal Favourite...

My favourite intersection in Toronto is probably not known by is the intersection that lies at Alburn Road and Ridge Hill (in the Forest Hill community). This intersection is the nexus of my childhood with my elementary school perched on the corner, my own childhood home just down Aldburn and treeline streets with residential homes on each side. For me, this intersection that is latent with meaning and memories signifies a return to the carefree lifestyle of childhood and the comfort of returning home. Also, it is an escape from the hustle-and-bustle of the cityscape. Whenever I am driving and I turn at this intersection onto Alburn I feel a sense of release and ease.
